Going through some of last year’s travels finally. These are taken on my Canon 7D SLR in Guanajuato. After my experience at Cine Las Americas, Jean asked me to participate in some events at GIFF. It’s an amazing intl shorts festival open free to the public – there is really nothing like it anywhere else in the world.

I wrote this film for director Alan Jacobs a few years ago. They’re still working out distribution, hopefully by 2012 it will be available to see at a theater near your hood, or streaming on Netflix. It was based on a true South Central L.A. story.

Bayview – Hunters Point, SF

Was up in SF for a few and checked out ARTSPAN, a very cool SF Open Studios event that happens in a different Bay Area location for 5 weekends. We hit up this crazy area on the edge of the water called Hunters Point, which is an old shipyard hood. All these buildings here are home to dozens of artist studios. These are shot on my Canon 7D SLR.
